"The card reader works like it should, there is nothing special about it. It does what it's supposed to do.

My only beef with it is the stupid sliding cover. It offers no added functionality to the device and is useless. Back to the drawing board with you."

Never worked for more than a day Date: March 22, 2009
"I initially purchased this from an inline store. It worked perfectly well for a day and from next day it stopped reading mini SD cards. Rest of the things worked for a while. However I mostly use mini SDs and needed that to work. I contact Kingston support and they responded very quickly and gave a new one as replacement. I paid for the postage though. This morning around 8 AM I formatted a 2GB mini SD using this reader and took few photographs . Tried to make mini SD read at 12:00 noon and it doesn't. This is very annoying annoying and unacceptable. Also none of the slots are working now. I wish I could give zero stars to this review."

"This thing is waaay cool. Whoever designed it was using their head. Be aware that you need to press the button on top to slide the ports out flush with the little case to easily install and uninstall the flash cards. At the same time the litle pig-tail pops out of the other end and you can plug that directly into your 'puter or into the 4 ft. USB extension cord provided and then into the 'puter. I just plugged it in and, "bingo" had my pictures ready to drag and drop. I have Vista Home Premium so it might work a little differently on another system. Buy it!"
