Verry good
Date: April 6, 2009
"2 months of using this memory of 64 GB. I connected to the memory of dozens of PCs and I liked how it goes. I have to transfer large files 1 Gb .. 4 GB and transfer speed would be 24 MB / s read and 15 MB / s write. I am satisfied, likely pt. higher speeds would be a higher price. I had links portable HDD 2.5 "and read speed was never more than 20.5 MB / s. So a read speed of 24 Mb / is more than satisfactory."

I do not recommend

"This is the biggest and most expensive USB memory I have ever bought. It's huge in capacity. It´s big also in size. I have measured the performance connected to 4 different computers, writing and reading a big file of 1Gb.(Win XP Pro SP3 on all computers) The write speed varied between 0.75 and 5.2 Mbyte/s !
The read speed is as usual higher than the write speed, but it did not make up for the poor write speed.
This was for me not acceptable and I sent it back to the store."

Big but SLOW
Date: January 14, 2009
"When you have this much storage, you need fast read AND write speeds or you'll be waiting forever. Well, be prepared to wait forever, because this key is SLOW. Write speed is only 4 MB/s; reads are better at 15 MB/s. That's a combined speed of only 3.1 MB/s. In other words, if you needed to move a 10GB file from one PC to another it would take you almost an hour. Using a standard USB HD would take about 8 minutes. I have a 16GB usb key that will do it in 16 minutes.
If I knew that the performance was this poor, I would have bought something else."

Buy the DataTraveler 150 NOW
Date: January 14, 2009
"I have several computers that I use and responsible for at work and home. The data differs depending which "Hat" I am wearing and job I am doing. Using the DataTraveler allows me to carry data between systems and computers to work on projects, spreadsheets, documents, and graphics at my leasure...when I find the time. My wife bought this for me for Christmas and I use this more than anything else she bought. I am selfish, I wish it was the 64GB.
Everyone needs one of these. Safe, ease to use, reliable, and convinent to use. Excellent product!"
