Washed and dried Date: January 12, 2009
"I use my 4 gig Kingston DataTraveler constantly, and never had a complaint with it whatsover, despite a lot of abuse. But this little gizmo outdid itself last weekend. After doing a load of laundry, I found it bumping around the dryer. "This baby is cooked," I told myself, "it's been washed and dried!" But when I plugged it into my computer, it sprang to life as usual. I wouldn't recommend this treatment, but Kingston is at the top of my list for any memory devices I buy in the future. By the way, Kingston is the only memory I use in my cameras."

Good price & excellent for Win 98se system Date: May 1, 2009
"Good price. No 'auto-run' or complicated features. Good and reliable for average users.
The 'Plus' : excellent Usb keys for Win 98 se system with the nusb33e driver. I recommend for old systems or 'vintage' systems.

"I had an older DTI, It flat out just stopped. I set up an RMA and they took it back with no questions asked. Kingston has one of the best warranties in the market.
P.S. because my DTI was discontinued, I was upgraded!! Kingston is Awsome!

Excellent customer support!!! Date: February 20, 2009
"Wow, courteous, cheerful, friendly, fluent in English, immediate, no endless maze of electronic menus..... and an instant effective answer to my question (I didn't know it would work perfectly to move FOLDERS rather than save individual FILES to the flashdrive).
Wow, thank you, I am so impressed and looking forward to using this drive. Evidently people must not have to call you guys with problems often from the rave reviews, so that makes it even more amazing you should be so nice when they ask a dumb question!

16GB Data Traveler DTI Date: January 21, 2009
"It's a good flash drive for the price I paid for it. It's not very fast but that was to be expected with this standard USB flash drive. The only issue I've had with the device is that the plastic holder where the key ring goes around broke about a week after I got it. I'm guessing the higher end devices have metal or better material so it won't break off as easy when you have it on a key chain. Thanks to Kingston, they have me set up to replace mine! Other than that, it's been handy for me."

Fast n Furious Data Traveler Date: January 20, 2009
"Got my 2 GB Green n White Data Traveler before Christmas while shopping for memory for a laptop for my inlaws.

I previously had a 1/2 gig thumb drive. The Data Traveler is sufficiently fast for transferring files given that I don't move overly large files. It is significantly faster than my old drive.

Can you say 4x the space. The capacity on this thing is huge. Yes there are drives that hold significantly more, but not for the price I paid. Plus, do you really want to carry around a USB thumb drive with 16 gb of data?

Personally, if I need that much data, I'll get an external hard drive. My Data Traveler is for quick smaller exchanges of data whether it be photos, music, work files, etc.

The hook on the back is great for lanyard or small strap, and the cover is great for keeping the drive clean of debris from the environment much less my pocket.

The fact that this is a Kingston product, I am not even concerned about reliability because I trust that it will function for years to come.

"I got the 2 GB model as a Christmas gift. No receipt! This unit intermittently does not copy the entire file written to it and corrupts the file. I have tried different flash drives and others work OK but the one I got cannot be trusted. It worked a week and now is "toast"."

"This is the best device I've ever used yet. this was also my first USB drive. I've had this device go in the washing machine accidentally. i dropped it many times. i dropped books on it several times with out knowing. it even fell out of my pocket when i got off the bus one time and it rained over night. the next morning i found it on the ground and was ran over numerous times. the case was still attached the cap broke but did really use it anyways. when i got to school the drive was still working. i think this is an awesome and most strongest device ever invented."

"One of the best USB drives I have ever used. I have a 1GB (I don't need to store much) and it went through:

The washing machine
An explosion of chocolate
dirt and rocks inside
And even still has a little piece of paper stuck in it.

I personally recomnet to all PC users if you planning to buy flash drive. Then go for Kingston.

I say it is the untimate.

"I am using this product for the last 4 years and I am quite satisfied with the one 256 MB I am using. Though it is quite small in memory size but it has helped me alot. The only draw back I've overcome is that its cap is broken and it looks very awkward in that and that problem has been covered by the latest capless models."

The only memory stick for me... Date: October 11, 2008
"I was lucky to stumble across Kingston when I bought my first stick for uni about 5 years ago, and although I've used my friends' various other brands, none compare to the ruggedness, size, reliability and prettiness even of these drives. I still have my 256MB drive from ages ago and the 2GB one I bought a few months ago. It's hard to believe that 16GB drives are now becoming available, a quarter of the size of my computer hard disk!"
