Washed and dried

"I use my 4 gig Kingston DataTraveler constantly, and never had a complaint with it whatsover, despite a lot of abuse. But this little gizmo outdid itself last weekend. After doing a load of laundry, I found it bumping around the dryer. "This baby is cooked," I told myself, "it's been washed and dried!" But when I plugged it into my computer, it sprang to life as usual. I wouldn't recommend this treatment, but Kingston is at the top of my list for any memory devices I buy in the future. By the way, Kingston is the only memory I use in my cameras."

"Wow, courteous, cheerful, friendly, fluent in English, immediate, no endless maze of electronic menus..... and an instant effective answer to my question (I didn't know it would work perfectly to move FOLDERS rather than save individual FILES to the flashdrive). Wow, thank you, I am so impressed and looking forward to using this drive. Evidently people must not have to call you guys with problems often from the rave reviews, so that makes it even more amazing you should be so nice when they ask a dumb question!"

Fast n Furious Data Traveler

"Got my 2 GB Green n White Data Traveler before Christmas while shopping for memory for a laptop for my inlaws.
I previously had a 1/2 gig thumb drive. The Data Traveler is sufficiently fast for transferring files given that I don't move overly large files. It is significantly faster than my old drive.
Can you say 4x the space. The capacity on this thing is huge. Yes there are drives that hold significantly more, but not for the price I paid. Plus, do you really want to carry around a USB thumb drive with 16 gb of data?
Personally, if I need that much data, I'll get an external hard drive. My Data Traveler is for quick smaller exchanges of data whether it be photos, music, work files, etc.
The hook on the back is great for lanyard or small strap, and the cover is great for keeping the drive clean of debris from the environment much less my pocket.
The fact that this is a Kingston product, I am not even concerned about reliability because I trust that it will function for years to come."
